VetSkill Advanced Veterinary Nurses (AVNs) Register

The VetSkill Register is of AVN individuals who have been awarded the VetSkill Level 5 Award in Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing qualification. The qualification demonstrates an AVN’s commitment to integrity, regard for public interest and responsibility for others. The purpose of the Advanced Veterinary Nurse (AVN) register is to help the public to recognise a qualified advanced veterinary nurse who is knowledgeable, competent and committed to high standards of professionalism. The register will also allow members of the public to check the registration status of any advanced veterinary nurse.

Our register recognises AVN experience alongside any other qualifications that they may have. It serves as a reflection of on-the-job experience and indicates the level of competence someone has as a practising advanced veterinary nurse.
